About Event

Geraldine Werhahn, winner of the 2018 Future For Nature Award, is working to protect Himalayan Wolves across their entire range.

Thanks to her dedication, the first IUCN Red List assessment for the species was completed in June 2023, listing the Himalayan Wolf as Vulnerable.

One of the major threats? Conflict with local communities. Geraldine is now developing strategies for coexistence that honor local traditions and culture.

Want to learn more? Join her upcoming lecture and hear firsthand how science, culture, and conservation come together to protect this unique species!
