Event Report

In December we hosted our (hopefully) annual documentary screening and Christmas quiz!!

The event started with warm greetings and warm chocolate milk to keep the cold weather outside. For the screening we had chosen "Ghost in the mountains". In this documentary we followed a group of wildlife researchers who were looking for snow leopards in Mongolia. It was really amazing to see everything come together. From the preparations to the connections that were made with local people and from the placement of the camera traps to the actual shot footage.

After watching the documentary, we talked about the documentary while enjoying hot chocolate milk and Christmas cookies! A lot of great stories were shared and a lot of laughs where to be heard!

And then we started our Christmas quiz. Within the game we noticed that our questions were a little to hard to answer. To fix this, we it more interactive by communicating more with the people in the audience, which worked!! Instead of trying to get every single thing right, we tried to make the most of fun out of it as we could!

After finishing all the questions (and the chocolate milk + cookies!) we announced our 3 winners for this year’s quiz!

This year’s documentary screening and Christmas quiz was a great success!! We hope to organize it again next year!! Hopefully we’ll see you there!! 💚
